Bénédicte Billet was born in 1973.
She studied law at the Université Jean Moulin Lyon III in Bourg-en-Bresse. She then obtained a master’s degree in “Private Law with Business Law” in June 1998.
She came to Belgium to complete her legal training in the European field. She obtained a Diploma of Specialized Studies (Master after Master) in “European and International Law”, European option at the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven) in June 1999.
She started her career at the Bar in 1999.
Her interpersonal skills and negotiation skills led her to specialize in family law.
She also practices civil and commercial law. In addition, her academic background allows her to handle French cases and to litigate in France.
She speaks French and English, and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
